7 Th year Extension & 485-LUD any relation

Hi all
As I posted earlier in other threads , Mine and My Wife's 485 LUD changed on 1/11,1/12.

Before this, When I got RFE, I desided to apply for 7 th year extension , and I applied. I did not added those EAC numbers to my profile.

When My LUD 's changed I was thinking that some one working on my file or atleast touched.

In Today's postal mail I got H4 extension approval....Approved on 1/10. My H1 approval might gone to my attorney or Company.

I added H4 EAC number to my profile, and its LUD is 1/11. with approval message- approved on 1/10/2005.


My Question is.... when we get 7 th year extension..... is OUR 485 LUD will chage beacuse of it.....

Or there is no relation between these....

Because... as my PD is >jan 2002, EB3, India.... I know I will be effected by retro..... but till now there was littel hope I was having because of my 485 LUD changed...... If tthis LUD beacuse of H1 extension.... its gone....

Can some one confirm me.....

I don't think so

I don't think that your I-485 LUD changed due to 7th year extension LUD/or approval.I got my EAD and 7th year extension without any change in LUD for I-485.I think USCIS may be going to approve your I-485 , I have read somewhere on this forum that in the past VSC approves I-485 but you can't get the passport stamp till visa # is available,
so cross your fingers and Hope for the good.

Just Came home and loohed at h4 approval letter.... they dint send I -94 with it. But in the approval letter it says " The applicant must keep the lower portion with his or her previous Form I-94, Departure Record. It must be presented when requested by INS. The Person must turn in his or her I -94 when leaving United States"

Bottom of approval letter it just Had INS vermount address.

Did you GOt I -94 when you got 7 th year extension.....
incedently..... My H1 approval and 485 LUD s change happend same day.....

You know when you are waiting and waiting ....fustrated.....all sort of questions comes in to mind....


Hope we soon come across the retro problem soon.....

Recently I applied for my 7th Year H1 extension on 16 Sep 2004 and it was approved on 18 Nov 2004. There was NO LUD change on I-485. Only the LUD for H1 changed

my H1 was also extended recently, no LUDs for I-485 though... I was hoping that H1 case might trigger an approval for I-485 but unfortunatelly it was not the case...
