I've been reading some inconsistent postings regarding changing employer in the 6th year of H1-B.
My current employer - company A has filed for my LC back in 2004 but it's still pending. My H1-B ends in Sept 2007. Current company A is going to file for 7th year extension for me in April 2007, based on LC application outstanding for more than 365s.
After that extension is completed, can I switch to Company B? The lawyer at Company B is very conservative - they strictly adhere to the legal rules. Of course after I switch, I'll have company B file for GC application immediately and will give up the PD from Company A.
