6th year H1 transfer ?

Hello ,

Please advice. My H1B 6 years expires in Oct 2005 , I am working for company A , but company B has filed my GC for future employment and is still pending labour .

1) At what point in time should I start working for company B , in order to apply for 7th year extension .

2) I currently don't have a valid H1B for company B and will need to apply for H1 transfer . Will this be a issue as I have approx. 1 year for 6 year completion. How early should I apply for H1 transfer .

3) My husbands H1B expires in May 2006 and has just filed his GC , can I continue working for company A , based on his status ?

In order to get my 7th year extension , I thought I should be working for the company B , which has applied for my GC.

1) At what point in time should I start working for company B , in order to apply for 7th year extension . -------- never have to work for them.
