As per Rajiv Beid\'s posting, they will keep files on shelf for 60 days after sending the FP notice.

That makes sense. Because, that sixty days includes the days for postal delays, the time between your receipt and actual appointment for FP INS receiving back from FBI.

If a notice issued on February 15th, the FP scheduled some time around end of march. They receive it in first week of April and they start working on that file from APRIL 15th.

Sounds very reasonable. But I noticed another posting at this board today says:

"Based on Rajeev Baid\'s conversation with IIO, your case will be checked two months after FP is cleared"

Can you help clear that the INS checks applicant\'s case 2 months after they sent FP notice or 2 months after they the applicant completes his FP with FBI?

I beleive you can hear a decision within 2 months, once they receive the FP, if your ND is processing date( not for FEB\'01 cases those received FP, already) and your dates are current.
