Hello,
I have my labor approved and I am about to file my I-140. I am leaning towards filing I-140 with the CP option.
Few questions:
1) In some places, I have seen people mentioning a 60-day process for CP while in India, that is, I should plan for being in India for 60 days when going for CP interview? Is this true or just a misconception?
2) Has anyone heard of any case being denied for some unexplainable reason?
3) In case of a namecheck, how long does it take for the name-check to be completed.
4) In case of missing document, does one need to wait some time for going back to the consulate with the document, or as soon as you get the document one can go to the consulate without any appointment?
5) How much time do you get to plan your trip to India for CP (day you get the letter to appear for an interview to the actual interview date)
This forum has been really very informative.
Thanks,
