6 Yr Expoiring Next Month

Hi,
My 6 Years is expiring next month. I have not applied for my 7th year extension yet. Can I continue to Stay in US after my expiry of I-94, If i apply for my seventh year extension now and get the receipt?

do you have a

LC filed for more than 365 days and a I-140 pending..then you can apply for 7th year extn
and stay on.

You only have to have your Labor Cert application pending for 365 days to be eligible. This is based on the law passed last November. No need to have reached I-140 stage to be eligible.

Ask your company to do Premium Processing. It will cost $1000, but you'll get your new H1 (good for 1 year) in 15 days.

Thx for your replies. My labor is pending for more than 365 days. Iam not planning to apply thru premium processing. Am I still Ok if I apply thru normal processing?

If you apply through normal processing, you are legally allowed to work for 240 days or BCIS's decision on your extension petition, whichever occurs first.
