6 years expiring on H1, Question on 7th yr extension

Hi,

My current H1 is expiring in Jul 2003. 6 years is getting expired by that time. I have applied for labor certification from my Corporate Office which is from Philadelphia. I am working for my company from Columbia SC.

Due to some changes in administration, we have got a new lawyer for our immigration purposes. Current lawyer is saying that I am supposed to apply from Columbia for labor certification.
My idea is that since I have applied from Corporate, I am good to go. Can anyone give their ideas/experiences on this topic. Since my labor is not approved yet, I would like to go for my 7th yr extension. Please reply me with any suggestions

I am asking my lawyer to extend my H1 to 7th year based on Philadelphia labor.

My company branch is now trying to get sold to a bigger company. Nothing is finalised yet but plans are undergoing. Does my new company allow me to stay on my 7th yr extension? If not, what are my options.

Roving employees (employees who work in various client locations based on contracts) can apply form the corporate headquarters "and other unanticipated client locations throughout the United States". If this were not possible it may not be possible to ever get a GC for a roving employee.

Even if the attorney is correct, you can still use the Priority Date for a 7th year extension.
