One of the big IT company today announced a major layoff.
I was a contractor there and let go today.

My company will be trying to find a job. If not, they might let me go too
after a month or so.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT, I CALLED INS right away to see what it is.
One small GOOD NEWS. They were waiting for I140 connection since
December, 2001 and finally connection is made and the Case
is assigned to an Lady Officer today(24th June in IIOs words!).

Half Good News. I will come back and post details in about
2-3 weeks time, hopefully no RFEs.
