56 months since filing i130 - no news

I am italian and the
the beneficiary of a I 130 petition through my dad who is a green card holder in California. I'm unmarried and over 21. It was January 2020 and haven't heard a bit. Is this normal? Should I have been contacted at this point at least to know if it's approved? Thanks to anyone who can help.

80% of cases im this category are processed in 53 months, so you may hear soon, but some will take longer. This page https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ gives processing times and also has a link at the bottom to submit online inquiries which will let you send them a message to inquire about the fact that your case has taken longer than average. Be sure to choose the right i130 category.
