540 days completed

Passing 540 days today after filing 485.
No sign yet.
Do you think calling IIO will be any productive?

You can try, atleast you'll know whether the case has been assigned to an officer.

I am having same EAC# and dates as user "DEC13"
I called IIO last week

Common answer.... Your case is pending with BCIS it may take 4 to 8 weeks currently they are processing Dec03 2001 case as standard answer.

I have seen some people here who called the IIO (and got a sensible one), and beofre they called their case hadn't been assigned, but the IIO assigned the case.

Now we don't know what really happens in the BCIS offices, but it wouldn't hurt to call and say that your 540 days are up!

Just called IIO, he says you dont have to call IIO ,to check the status on the case, go to on line . Then I said Sorry sir for wasting your time next time I will go to online, can you check it for me today?
Sure!!
after a while he read what is listed on website ''On June 5th your finger print results...labla labla..and processig has been resumed.
Morever he says it will take 18 months more time after finger prints are received
I am pissed of with that response said thanks and bye!

I called the 800# and got the same

I called twice in my I-485 career and both the times he read out exactly what i found on the website.
I asked them if my case has been given to an adjudicating officer. he said he doesnt know.
