Started the GC process in Oct 1996 from Chicago via regular labor because the stupid lawyer wasn\'t familiar with RIR. First got stuck in SESA for 1 1/2 years and then in Chicago for another year. Company got bought by another company based in MD. Gave up on Chicago labor and started another labor process (this time as RIR with different lawyer) in June 1999. You can call it a coincidence or just my luck that new labor certification from Philadelphia and old Chicago labor got approved the same day (July 1999).
During those days VSC was processing I-140 in 60 days, but when I applied VSC decided to freeze all I-140 process for 9 months.... my luck again at work. Finally got out of I-140 crap in May 2000 and waited in I-485 queue for another 1 year. Once again I thought I might just get lucky this time and not get RFE, but nooooo got RFE for stupid employment verification.
Anyway I am approved. It was such a long road that I don\'t feel like enjoying this moment......
