4th EAD!!!

I'm applying for my 4th EAD tomorrow! Cause our EAD's are expiring in October! MAy be its already too late, who know!
And the fees went up! Now its $175 a piece. Excellent! Such an irony of fate. I have RFE issued ( lawyer is working on it), 2nd set of FP notices issued( date is next month!) , and applying for 4th sets of EADS. What a mess!! Time, energy and moneywise!!!

Funny thing is, one week after I filed 4th EAD, our I485's were approved. So your turn may come soon too. I waited and waited to avoid filing 4th EAD, but since it is going to expire at the end of Sept., I finally, reluctantly filed the 4th one. And yes, wrote a $175 check!!! :( Now I am thinking of ask my money back, but I don't think TSC would allow that.

I noticed that you were saying your 2nd FP is scheduled next month, I would suggest you go for that ASAP. After we did our 2nd FP, it took another 6-7 weeks to get the final approvals, so you may want to minimize that at your end since you can speed up TSC. Now I am really convinced by the theory that they are conducting some name/background check behind the scene once FP is clear. And that check takes about 6 weeks to complete.

the FP letter specifically said DO NOT GO for FP BEFORE the assigned date, you can go any wednesday AFTER the date if you can't be there on that day:)

I am applying for 4th EAD renewal this monday, can't wait any longer, our EAD's expire in October!
There goes $300 down the drain!! oh well........
 
Yeah, maybe you wont need it ...we applied for our 4th EAD's and AP's and 2 weeks later our 485's were approved...all that money (we had applied through the lawyer also) went wasted...but i am not complaining :)
 
Anitha R - here is a deal to recover your expenses...

I am ready to reimburse all your expenses, provided you can see if we can alter our 485 approval/AoS status with each other ;)

Nice to see you friend, especially when you are close to being an active member, despite getting an approval a while ago. Kudos.
