do you think in the near future will it be possible to apply for i-485 even if the dates are not current?do you think feb will the bill be passed in the senate?is there any hope?
 
I doubt it

Pleae be aware 2006 is an election year - they will be after the "large" hispanic votes, key for victories in the South. Focus will be on illegal immigration / guest worker program. I doubt they will make any radical changes to legal immigration process - our best hope is to increase the numbers - directly or indirectly (i.e. by not counting dependents).
