485 vs Consular Processing PLEASE HELP....

Hello All:
When I filed my I-140, I filled out the section for Consular Processing. Later I decided to file 485.
Just after I filed my 485 I received a letter from National Visa Center saying my case has been sent to Bomb ay post. I did not file for CP and have been following the 485 process.
Would this effect my 485 petition.
I would really appreciate if you can help me in this matter.

PA received: Feb 2001
AD received: March 2001

Please explain what is FL, PA ,AD ? I don\'t understand the dates you have mentioned.
