485 Transfer Employer same Client Changed

Hello Gurus,

I am with an employer who is in MA. He filed for my I-485. Now i have a client in CA, if i take up this client work ( My employer is still same) does my 485 transfer to California Service Centre

I am not a guru. But if you change your address which is under a different service center's jurisdiction there is a possibility of your case to be transferred.

Yes I understood that. But since 485 is a employee application (you are the beneficiary) there is a likelihood of the case being transferred to your local USCIS center.

case transfer depends

Case will or will not be transferred depends on USCIS. There is no norm for it. Make sure you send AR-11 and call NSC as well to correct your address.
