485 Status Inquiry - advise pls

I spoke to my attorney the other day about the delay in my case. He said he will inquire and get back to me. Today I received this email from him

His email to me --->>

>> I received the following in response to the formal inquiry I made on your case.


The response he received -->>

>>Your VSC inquiry request has been sent to VSC Liaison Committee member {name of the member}

>>Please allow the AILA liaison committee member at least three weeks before expecting a response, and remember that the AILA liaison member does not control the turn-around time for an USCIS response. The Committee member will be in contact with you soon.

>>Thank you,
>>{name}
>>Liaison and Information
>>American Immigration Lawyers Association

Any idea what to expect? Is this routine "Call us back in 30 days" stuff?

I have opened a status inquiry myself and got a response back saying the "Processing has been delayed due to shortage of man power to finish the Security check". I have conveyed this to my Sr. paralegal who told me that she is going to request "AILA liaison" to look into my case. I do not know what they are going to do
 
Here is the reply I got to the my attorney's enquiry about my status

Your case is currently being reviewed. You should be hearing from us in 30 - 60 days

This letter was signed by the Acting Center Director

Is this a standard reply? When they say I will hear from them in 30 -60 days, do they mean a result or another mail saying the same thing?

Any ideas?
 
did you guys try through Senator's office ? My online status says something else and Senator's office were able to get the right information.
 
What was the right information. Plus I am not sure which senator to target? I am texas but my case is in Vermont. Please advice.
 
completed century(100days) after RFE

Hi all

i contacted my senator 2nd time after my RFE(received by INS 100 days back). let see what will happen.
