485 - self apply

I took help of a lawyer for filing 485, but i wish to continue the process of 485 my self,

any ideas advice??

or any one handling the 485 on his/ her ownself, can share ideas.

Lot of people have done it.

For routine cases, unless you use AC21 or other complicated issues, it should be fine.

Even RFE, most of which is simple, can be handled by self. Also, you can always consult a lawyer or use their services if and when necessary.
 
I heard/read somewhere that if you apply the 485 yurself, you may get a query. This may be one of those things being done by the lawyers association in order to discourage people from applying by themselves.
 
Applying 485 yourself is not much more complicated than applying for a drivers license.

Not sure if this will trigger any scrutiny by BCIS. Yet to see the evidence.
 
You've already applied 485 with Attorney's help. There is nothing much you can do after this other than waiting for approval, unless you get an RFE, which you can answer on your own.
