485 Rfe

Recieved a RFE for 485 today...

"Please submit a letter on company letterhead from your employer attesting to its job offer of continued employement, including a brief description of the program, your specific duties and your level of compensation"


I guess I just need to send a letter from my employer... Any other
recommendation on how to prepare this RFE...Do I need to pay any
specific attention to this RFE since mine was NIW case..

Also the officer #294 has been assigned to this case... any experience
with this one...anyone?

Glad to learn u got RFE,


You may ask ur employer to produce a simple employment letter on their letter head,
All Items they asked, include , JOb title, Full time employee, ur yearly salary, and your small description of duties (if LC then write from LC)

Thanks POJ ... I know I can count on you atleast...

..btw..I got another letter from TSC in response to my inquiry..
it says ..pending security check... as usual they cannot do anything..

Did you change employers after NIW + !485 submissions? Did your LUD's change before receiving the RFE? Please share info...

No my employer has been the same since filing of 485 and I140...

My LUD changed on sept. 13 when they issued an RFE ..thats all..

what was the other letter u got from TSC. And what was your inquiry whom did u make it ? Share your info.
 
I am EB2 filer..

plusI called customer service and sent an enquiry into my case since
the TSC was showing processing date of Oct'04 and my PD was Aug. '03..
So TSC sent me a letter that my case is pending security clearence..

but 15 days after they sent that letter ..they issued an RFE for Employement
Verification...I am guessing ..they might have got the security thing done
by then..but don't know really how TSC works...

Get the letter from your HR and Fedex it to TSC ASAP if you will be affected by VISA cut off from 10/1/2005.

If you applied in NIW than I guess you may not have gone through Labor. am I right. How do you know your priority date. Is it the same date as Notice date for 485

For NIW..where labor is not required... the priority date is determined by the
date of filing of I-140 (immigrant petition) ..for me it was Aug 11, 2003.
