I did not have the birth certificate so I submitted affidavits from my parents. Now I have received a RFE and I have been asked to submit a letter of denial from indian local authorities that they have denied my request for birth certificate.
If you have the format then please send that to me so that I can use it.
Also I have following questions related to the same:
1) if the authorites give the certificate in a language other than english then what would I have to do?
2) The certificate which they issue may be on a plain paper and not on a letter head, will that be acceptable?
3) Also if I submit that letter then do I need to re-submit the new affidavits or I can use the old ones which I submitted originally?
4) Also the indian embassy here in New York issues birth certificates based upon our passports. Will that be acceptable as it wont be from the local authorities?
