485 RFE...whats NEXT

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I got notified through e-mail that there is an evidence requested on my 485.

Now once we submit all this documentation, they are going to decide on this case. I mean, if we send appropriate documents and USCIS is satisfied with it, they are going to approve it immediately or else again it goes back into retrogression.

Pleaase clarify.

They won't necessarily approve it soon. They usually just add the documents to the file, and the I-485 remains pending.

Thanks JACK.. but are there any cases which gets approved immediately..

Also, another question,

My family is india right now. Should I be calling them back. Can I travel to india during this RFE.
