485 RFE Question

When there is an RFE for 485 case does it always means that they have gone thru the file and require only things mentioned in the RFE ?

If so then after we send the documents mentioned in RFE ? do they normally make decision or just keep on digging and screwing around with the file and asking for more documents ?

Usually no..

if you have completely and comprehensively answered the RFE then they just take that and approve you right away..
but if something else crops up ..like sending in pay-stubs from a new employer (if you have used AC21 ) then they can schedule you for an interview.

Generally RFE is a good sign. They touched your case. Send all documentation they want and hope for being approved soon.
