485 RFE - Missing Practical Training Card

I am a dependent of my husband\'s I-485 case. SC asked me to provide my legal status document. I have everything (H1s and Ends) but the Practical Training Card (used for one month before my first H1). I can not find the card or its copy after 7 long years. All I have is a stamp on the back of my I-20 by the university official recommending INS for one year practical training. Does anybody know or have experience on how to deal with such situation? Thanks a lot in advance.

How about checking with the employer (where you worked for 1 month
on PT)...they *may* have a copy of your PT...

Also, do you recall surrendering this PT at the consul where you have
applied (and obtained) your H1 Visa? if so, you can mention that in
the RFE reply, and see if VSC would accept that...

I am not really sure about this...but, does INS send an approval notice along with the PT card? if they do, and if you have it, that
would be a big help...

Thanks a lot for the information you provided.

Unfortunately, my previous company merge with my current company several years ago and they lost all my old files. I can not find any information about my PT card at all.

did you apply PT from school before you started your
work? if so school may have a copy of your application
and approval?
