I filed my 485 with my wife (principle filer) last year. Recently, I received the RFE from INS which asks me for proof that I'm maintaining my F-1 status. I'm a little confused since I've been using my AP and EAD after they were approved. Thus currently, my status should not be F-1 anymore. Is it not OK for me to use my AP and EAD?
If I want to show that I've been maintaining my F-1 status until my status became AOS. What should I give INS? my transcripts? letters from department?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
