This is my first time in the forum and I have couple of questions:

1. Is there a message change when 485 is denied stating that the case is denied?

2. Do you get e-mails if 485 is denied?

3. I received an RFE on my 485 that was received by NSC center on April 14th. LUD changes on 4/16/06, 4/17/06, 4/18/06 and nothing since then.

Anxiously waiting for any tips as to when to expect a decision. I had read that most of the approvals come within a week and that is adding to my anxiety.

What is the RFE regarding? How did you respond it?

RFE regarding:
1. Show valid status since last entry: provided documents
2. incomplete birth certificate: provided additional documents and affidavit from mother and aunt.
3. proof of bonafide marriage: provided bank account, mortgage, joint car loan, joint tax return.

sch1086,

proof of bonafide marriage

for this you have to provide marriage certificate and possibly the receipt of the marriage hall where marriage took place and also marriage photos.

Please check with attorney.

How did you respond to the first query ? I i entered the US last time few months back do they need that many paystubs or they are looking for some proof since you came in US ?

Thanks.

you need to show the visa that you used when you entered as well as I-94. Also if there was any entry in your passport made when you entered, you should use that as well.

hope this helps

This helps me a lot man, I thought that they are asking for all the tax documents (Pay stubs). I was the victim of the 2001 recession and was on bench for 4-5 months.

This lifts lots of burden from my shoulders.

thanks.

cool! Just to make sure that my answer fits with your RFE, write exactly what was mentioned in your RFE
