485 returned

Hi

My 485 was incorrectly returned. The package reached USCIS Nebraska center on June 30. On Aug 7, I received the package from USCIS with a letter stating that it was returned because a visa number is not available.
I fall in the category of being current as per the July priority date bulletin.

My attorney will be resending the package.

If anyone experienced something similar...please let me know what you did different to resubmit the application.
 
what everyone else did differently was to submit the application on <B>JULY2, 2007</B>.

your application was returned very correctly. and your attorney is a dork too.
 
Was your PD current in June. If not USCIS will not accept 485 applications on june 30th for the PD becoming current in July. Looks like your attorney jumped the gun and sent it a day early.
