485 related question

Is there a limit on the total 485 applications BCIS can take per yr?
I mean all 485- family based, EB based.
For example this yr H-1B applications meet a certain no;
can such a thing happen with 485 also????

I believe yes they have different periorities and per year limitations on different pettitions.... but based on what type of pettiton (not ethnic/rel/country).

if u r talking about 485 family based or Empl based.... per year limit .... yes they do have limit (cehckout reports on web sites)...
family based petttions are sent to local INS office and they run indenpendent dates as national or magor Processing centers..

We all see they did process 140/EAD/GC pettitons...like TPS... you can find TSCprocessing report on web site in which they clearly shows periorities as cagtagery.

also in 485 cases they allow all countries as equal quota. and I learned ppl from Ind/Phil/China/Mex has long line and wait for their loveones to join then Pakistan /Bangladesh and other south east counrties
