485 Receipts with employer - Please help

My Employer is not giving me my 485 receipts and is not filing my EAD and AP. What can be done in this situation?
I need to have my AP immediately. Please help...

They have no right to hold on to your I-485 receipts. Get a lawyer to send something to them.

For EAD and AP the employer has no obligation to file them for you; you can file them yourself but still you need a copy of I-485 receipt.

Getting the AP approved will take 1-4 months, so it won't happen "immediately" even if the employer cooperates.

You can file for you EAD/AP with your fingerprint notice.. (or so I have been told by my attorney)

Who paid for 485? If you, then the receipt number should be behind your copy of the check.
