485 receipt

Hi,
I have applied my I485 application at the Vermont service center. The I485 packet was received by Vermont service center on April 10th 2001. Neither I nor my attorney received the receipt notice yet (as of May 14th 2001). Has anyone received the receipt for the application filed on or after April 10th 2001. What can I do in this case? Please advice.
Looking for your valuable suggestions.

Same case as yours , sent 485 on 9th, received on 10th. No news so far , no EAD , no receipt nothing.

Usually u can call VSC, give ur last name and date of birth, tried that no news, IIO said will be in few days. Waiting to see

Same here. Filed on 4/20/01, and still waiting for a receipt. My attorney said that their office is slowly receiving receipts for I-485 filed in early April.

Hi Guys,

I read recently (2 weeks) in this forum, Due to the new 245-I applications, VSC/INS is "LITTLE" slow in opening letters. I hope this helps. I am also in the same boat waiting for receipt/EAD/etc.

I don\'t understand why it is slow due to 245(i)? I heard 245(i) will
only affect local INS office to a great degree, as for Vermont INS,
I think it\'s just a few more I-140 filings. correct me if I am wrong,
another question: does VSC handle receipts in a central spot? I mean
is it the same mailing section sending out receipts for all types of application? thanks.

FYI I filed on 3/15 and received the receipt on 4/26. So there\'s nothing to worry, it\'s normal to take more than one month to receive the receipt.

PD-08/98, ND-03/00, FP-03/01, Waiting....

I mailed my Advance Parole and AD renewal applications in second week of April.
Haven\'t got either receipt notice or approval. Last Thursday I spoke to an II.
She said, the back office people enter the new applications into the system
and they are working a little slow. She asked me check back in this week.
Thinking of calling them again on Friday.......
