485 receipt for H1 revalidation??

Hi,
I just found out that if you have a valid H1b visa, then you don\'t need 485 receipt or AP for travel abroad.
But does anyone know, if a 485 receipt is required (if 485 is pending) for H1 revalidation (abroad)?

Yes You Need 485-Receipt....//

I went India two month ago and my lawyer told me that you need 485-orginal receipt with Valid H-1B..
But show only if they ask for...but if they ask and you do not have then you may be in trouble...//
