Hi

My 485 RD 10/05/2002 My FP1 done and got 2 EAD's also My question is My status not changed from ' We received your finger prints on july 9 th blah blah process resumed' which was triggerd due to addres change But after that No change in msg or FP2 . But when i call my lawyer she says if USCIS recieved on July 9 th your FP1 results may be not expired and asked me to wait till things changes.. But i'm not sure about this, I'm sure this very common msg whoever changed at that time they all got same msg on jul 9th... . Or lawyer is right.. any thougts will be greatly..

My online status message changed to the same message (and the same date - July 9) after I submitted the address change. Since then there has been no update. It does make sense that if the results of the fingerprint review has been received by USCIS, then there is no need for FP2.

Your attorney is right. We just have to wait it out.

I have exactly the same message triggered due to address change. The strange thing is that even my message says Jul 9th. Why does everyone's message say Jul 9th. What is so special about that date.

My RD is Oct 14th, 2002 so I am not sure when I can expect some activity on my case. :confused: :confused:
 
This is my experience. My status message never changed from day 1. I had 2 EADs. Last one done around Feb 2004.

For my wife, she had 3 EADs. Last one some time in April. After her 3rd EAD, the status for her changed to "On July 9, received FP...." (The standard message). But, my status still is same from day 1.

Thus, I think, there is a time cut off after which the online status shows "On July 9, ...". In my case, my EAD renewal might have been before that cut-off, thereby not updating my status. But, in my wife's case, she hit it for her 3rd EAD renewal thus updating her status.

To add to it, I received my 2nd FP notice on 06th May. There was no notice for my wife. (Our 1st FP was done on same day). Thus, I thought (as you guys are guessing), as her status update says FP receipt on July 09, it has not expired and she may not need 2nd FP. But, we got her 2nd FP notice yesterday. Thus, the theory that FP receipt update on July 09 makes the FP valid now is not correct.

Just my opinion...

Looks like some idiot programmer has hardcoded the string " On July 9 2003 .... " in the database upload (ETL) program. So do not read much into the date value. If it was true then your FPs would have been valid and you would not have recd 2nd FP notices... ;)

I have the same message with same July 9th date. I also changed my address end of July 2003 and this message came up after the address change. I got my 2nd FP notice on the 7th of May 2004 which I completed on the same day.

This is just for everyones info.
