Hi,
I was reading through my H1B visa petition paperwork that my employer (a consulting company) submitted and on form I-129 (Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker), Part 5, Question 5: "Address where the person(s) will work if different from address in Part I." - My employer has left the answer blank.
(Part I simply had the address of my companys office address)
I've heard that if the employer doesn't write something to the effect of, 'Various unanticipated client sites throughout the United States', it could possibly cause a problem during some stage (most probably the I-485 stage) of my green card process if I am working or have worked at a client site outside of the companys office area during any stage of me being employed by my employer sponsoring my green card.
Is that correct? Any response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vikram
