485 Processing Time Frame less than or >= 22 months ??

What is the worste period of time for 485 Processing? I read in few articles 22 months is that correct? Or is there any one who are waiting for more than 22 months and still waiting for approval?


RD - 12/4/2002
ND - 1/14/2003
FP - 2/27/2003
EAD - 2/25/2003
140 - 1/20/2003

I have completed 11 months and if it is 22 months i need to wait for 11 months.

There are still few SEP/OCT/NOV - 2001 cases still pending

There are atleast few dozens of DEC-2001 cases still pending

Only 60 % of JAN-2002 cases are touched till date.

More than 50% of the 60 % touched cases having been transfered to Local offices which may delay the whole process by another year.

Per my prediction the first DEC-2002 approval will be seen in another four-Six months. It will take another 12 months from the first approval to complete the whole of DEC-2002 cases.

In the Best case scenario you can expect your approval in the 4 months In the Worst case scenario you can expect your approval in the 16 months. (Also add another 15 months as contingency in case the case is transfered to Local office).

Finally as known to everyone USCIS is unpredictable..:D :D
