485 Processing dates for EB2

Hi everyone,
I have filed I 485 in Jan 05. I saw in one of the other website (immigrationwatch.com) that there have been approvals for 485 who have filed during the same time. If your case was approved Please share the details as to what category (EB2,EB3..?), and what kind of job you are in. (I am a Structural Engineer). Any one in the same boat?? here are my details.

I140 RD 10/27/2004. EB2 Category
Approved 11/9/2004 (is this a record??)

I485, I765 and I131 RD 01/14/2005
EAD,AP approved on Mar 25, 2005

FP done on Mar 3, 05
Checked with FBI recently and they said FP was processed on Mar 10 and sent back to CIS.

Waiting on 485 now. Website status check has not updated the FP until now.

Anyone else in the same situation?

Dude, there are a bunch of other threads in which you will get the info you are seeking. Under the concurrent filing forum.

So one question to you - how did u check with FBI? Called them? Cause I heard that they take up to 6 months to reply back to your emails.

Sorry for posting in the wrong thread, Can you please guide me as to which thread i have to look for and post a link if possible. I have checked with FBI for fingerprints and they replied that it has been processed and sent back to CIS on Mar 10 itself. Is there a way to find out the status for name check with FBI? Please comment.

FP done means just that.
But you might be stuck in name-check which will take days to years.
contact USCIS at appropiate time to seek your case status. If they come back saying 'AOS approval pending security checks...', you can go into hibernation mode like so many on this forum :)..

But to get status of name check request, you can do lot many things. Not sure will any of them will result in speeding up the approval, but atleast you are doing your part.

Hope anyways you do not have to go through name check delays and hope you will get your green soon.
