485 pending since Jan 04

Hi all,
My I-140 was approved in May of 2003 and my 485 was filed on Jan 30 2004.

485 RD: Jan 30, 2004
EAD & AP: ~March 20 2004
Fingerpring: Self: April 2004
Wife: June 2004 (deferred it as she was in India)
EAD and AP Renewal: Filed in December 2004
EAD and AP approved: March 19, 2005

485 application: Last touched on Feb 2, 2005


As you can see there has been activity on my account, but 485 has not been approved. CSC is showing a 485 processing date of October 2004. This is way past my Jan 30, 2004 processing date.

Is there anything I could do to speed up the process? Does sending inquiry forms or having a congressman help?

I have to quit my job by Fall to join a Master's program and I really have to have my GC by then...

Please help. All suggestions/ideas will be much appreciated.

Hi,
i have the same case,
I received EAD and AP in May 2004, i got my I140 approved. But from the last 1 year i am waiting for my I485 approval.
When i talk to my lawyer he says my case is in FBI security. but i don't know how much time will it take.

All my friends who filed after me, before me, got their GC. i am still waiting for it.
Anybody has any advice,,,,, how to contact FBI to check whether my name check is done or how much time will it take?
I did not get any mail from FBI or USCIS so far.
Please help.

i am in the same boat. we filed for my husband in march 2005, and still no response on his 485.
