485 pending, H1 hits 6yr soon, need H1 extend?

Hi,

I have my 485 pending (after finger printing) while my H1 will expire in a few months. Should I apply EAD and disregard H1, or I have to get the 7th-year H1? Which way is safer? If later, how to apply for the 7th-year H1 extension? Will it affect my 485 approval if I let H1 expire?

Please check, there are messages about extending H1 after 6 years.
In my case EAD was applied 2 months prior to 6year H1 expiry.
EAD usually takes 30 - 60 days at that time.
