485 pending and long sick leave

There is still few months remaining for me to reach the 180 days threshold for 485 pending. If I fall sick for 3-4 months in this 180 days period and cannot report to work, but I am still employed with my employer, does the 180 days timeframe to file AC21 go up.

Pl help me with this answer.

AC21 is good as long as you havent left the employer or employer hasnt fired you.do whatever you want.
