485 Medicals - How long for test results

I went for medical examination and gave my blood sample a week ago.
I have been calling the doctor's office multiple times everyday. They tell me that it takes time for the HIV results to come back and that there is no reason to panic.

Is this normal ?
How long does it take for blood test results to be available?

Should I be concern ?
Please advise :confused:
 
If something was wrong with the results, they would contact you immediately.

I dont think there is anything to be concerned.

I got my results in 3 days, but it all depends on the availability of the lab.
 
I went for medicals on one Friday. I got my results on Wednesday and got my paperwork from the dr on Thursday.
 
When I got my tests done here in Dallas, I went for HIV blood draw and TB Skin Tests on Wed. Went back on Friday to get TB Skin tests reviewed, and picked up the sealed envelope after the review!

They are kicking some butt there - 6 practitioners, clinic open 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week, $85 for basic immigration check (immunizations extra)!

Price and service un-beatable - hands-down.
 
It shouldn't take more than 1 week for the blood test @ the lab. other than that your vaccinations should take a day and TB skin test takes 48 hours.
 
I think for us it was 2 weeks for the blood test which was to check antibodies for the immunizations, other blood tests were few days...
