485 medical question - Please help !!

I am just about to file 485 and when i did my medicals, doctor told me that i have an inactive
infection from TB ..barely noticeable in the chest X-ray taken.. now what do i do ? Should i go ahead and file 485 considering that its an in
active case ..will my case be approved ..or do i wait and take the medications ( might be 6-7 m
onths)and then file ? I would appreciate your opinions on that..
please help.
am posting this to other INS center forums too..in case any one has a similar condition or know
about it.
 
Go to your local Department of Health

Bring your X-Ray diagnosis from your private doctor. The doctor in the Deparment of Health will read that report and give you a piece of paper basically saying that you have inactive TB and recommend a medicine for 6 or 12 month. You need to attach this paper to your 485 application. However, you don't need to wait for 6 or 12 months. You can file 485 after you get this evaluation. You should not have any problem. Remeber to call and make an appointment before you go to the Department of Health. Good luck!
