485/EB2/INDIA - RD FEB 28, 03 - ND APRIL 03(Day INS received my application, INS changed to DHS) so probably that delayed notice from INS.

FP: July-03 Send out fax once for fp expiration which is sept 10. Probably that may have worked. Still waiting for official letter. Wife has rfe for medical. I am primary thoough. I guess they are working sincerely based on FP expiration.

Can you pl tell what was the reason for the RFE for your wife. My wife did not do all the medical tests because of our new born child and we are concerned about getting an RFE. Thanks.
 
TSCJayHo: Could you pl post a sample letter format that you used to expedite your case? Did you fax it to those 2 TSC faxes or just one? Could you pl post the fax numbers as well? Your response is greatly appreciated!

We were expecting kid at time of medical test so my wife did not take some shots and chest xray...Called up doctor and they said have to redo entire test as its older then 1 year... but INS only wants X-rays... anyway what the heck couple of bucks more just happy to get out of this shit.

At last received courtesy copy for 485 approval. I am trying to access infopass to make appointment for Dallas. But somehow when I select option for passport stamping it says there is no appointment available currently for this area? anywone having same problem. Any one would like to share experience of passport stamping and requirement will be highly appreicated.

I also got Approval Notice and trying to setuo appointment for Houston got the message:
At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.

Has any one used infopass for Houston successfully?

send them fax twice in difference of about month. Got approval after probably a week after sending second fax.
 
PP stamping done at dallas

Got done with my PP stamping at Dallas. Extemely easy process couldnt believe it that it could be so easy.. had appointment in early morning... went 15 minutes before appointment... waited for an hour for number to come(dont know why they give appointment when they can not keep their time) got my number called, gave them passport and approval notice.. gave them ead and ap(if you dont then its ok as i only gave one copy of each which were expired)... they took fp and stamped my passport. I asked them twice am i done and lady said yes!!!!!

All is well that ends in well..

Got an email from USCIS that my wife's 485 case has been issued an RFE. We suspect it is medical related (she didnot do the TB test because of a new born). I am waiting for the RFE details, but wanted to prepared, should we go ahead and schedule a TB test. What else was required under similar cases?
What is the typical turn around time after submitting the RFE related documents for USCIS to adjudicate?
My 485 has not been touched :(
