485 Lowest Priority Csc

Guys,
Just talk to my attorney and asked about his opinion about how long it is going to take for my Approval ? he said he has some contact in BCIS and he mention about a rumor that Donald Neufeld ,CSC BCIS chief has set 485 application to be given the LOWEST PRIORITY. And advised and remided that agent would be held accountable if any mistake are made in 485 approvals
(Zero Tolerance Policy ). In fact, only assigned 2-3 personal to work on the 485 cases. chief is against immigration.

My attorney was almost certain that the rumor that "JIT would move after OCT 2003" is just old gimmick. And Said " these are statement is meant for PR and appear once every quarter ". My application was filed in March 2002. He was pessimistic.

I am disappointed, as I am hoping to go to home country for a 3-4 months after I get approved. But, I guess who cares.

I had a hunch on this that there is some stupid guy at top at the CSC BCIS who is creating all the trouble...This confirms my fears....This is the reason that VSC dates are advancing but CSC dates are stuck at the same place...I hope this BCIS chief asshole gets fired for incompetence......
 
If the chief is against immigration how come they are churning EAD and AP.

Guys, just relax and don't think about all this all the time. Enjoy the life while you are young. Thinking about this all the time might cause health issues.

Couple of years ago, 485 used to take 2-3 years and then something strange happened. INS brought down processing time to couple of months in 5 months period. Same thing will happen (eventually).

Note: My labor was filed in Feb 1998 (RIR), still waiting for my green card. My colleages who came to this country in 2000 already got their GCs. Nobody knows better than me how rotten INS is. So, don't jump off your chairs and start cursing me for saying what I said.

Buddy, with 9-11 and the economy that "couple of months in 5 months period" would never happen again. Be best assured.

hellooooo, May be you missed , but Stock market's were going
balistic once upon a time. and you are comparing those time with today's condition. God help You.

This informaation is absolutely true. Every pattern mentioned here is becoming true. 2-3 officers working on the system. Case transfers to local offices. Name it, they have all the tools they want, since the media, senators, not even AILA wants to hear your story. Especially when all the immigrants are from one particular country.

I did not know who it was. So let us make sure Mr Donald Nuefield is known to every one - lawyers, media, AILA, INS, ISN and your friends.

Moreover in last 4-5 months, he has appointed his own croonies, 5-6 of them who supports him. Mr Donald Nuefield has all the blessings from the top. Churning out EADs and APs !!. That is a way to keep the heat a little low. You are caught in the middle of someone who fancy, can clean the system. !! I mean all of you - 485 applicants.

By the information, I am putting here is being watched !!.
 
The problem is most guys here on this board just want to open their mouth and whine... and thats it, hoping the the problems will go away by their own.

One way to handle this situation is lobbying. But, this requires lots of money. and, if you ask people to contribute money and time...... most big whiners will disappear like account balance on 25th of the month. Of course, opening the mouth and blubber cost nothing, therefore, you see lots of whiners here on this board.

There were 300 approvals in June in wac-02 series. Say, another 100 approvals were in wac-01 and (who knows?) wac-03. That makes 400 aprovals per month or 16 approvals per working day or, assuming 1 approval per hour per person, we get 2 persons working. Looks like real thing to me :(.
 
What should do about it? Waiting here doing nothing is obviously not an option. Any idea how we can reach some politician to emphasize the importance of immigrants to US?
 
I dont think 485 is low priority

I strongly believe 485 is definitely not in low priority....


I think there's no priority means they must be dumping the applications in a store room and no one wants discuss about them at CSC.


Even if it is a low priority at least the november '01 folks would have been getting the approvals. I haven't seen any Nov. '01 approvals lately.

iEAD at SFO and i485 query

Hi:

I got my iEAD at SFO today.

When I asked the IIO about why 485s are not being processed he goes..

"Its employment based, not family based..who cares about employment based 485s..you can get EAD if your H1 expires"

It was a disturbing remark.

We guys got to do something..

I have sent an email to the Senator Feinstein today. I dont think I will get any reply as I am not living in CA. It will be great if they reply to my email. Lets wait and see, if something happens.

Guys who are living in CA will get a reply from them. Thats what their website says. So, common guys send a letter to the senator and lets make it happen.
