My Lawyer just filed my I-485 like a week ago. Now due to some personal problems I have to move. Lawyers mentioned that INS usually sends the EAD, AP directly to the applicant. How do i give INS my corrected address. Lawyer also mentioned that if I file change of address then this might delay my processing up to one year. So best way would be to fill out change of address at the post office. Has anyone ever came across such a thing? What do you suggest?

Thanks!

By INS regulations: You are suppose to fill out AR11 within 10 days of your move.

I think its best for you to recieve the EAD/AP, which should not take more than a month, and then move.

Moving will delay your process is a popular concept but not necessarily true according to IIO.

Thanks Sunny J for responding.

I can't stay at the current place for more than 10 days. What happens if INS mails my EAD to my old address and somehow I don't get it? I mean do they mail a copy to the lawyer also?
