After seeing visa bulletin, can I approach my case this way?
My wife was born in Sri Lanka but she is indian citizen. I'm also indian citizen. Is there any way I can speed up my wife's case?

PS: Sep 2002 ...EB3
140: 05/2005
3 times EAD renewed. (never used).
485: ???????

I-485 are proceseed according to country of birth not citizenship. She should be OK as long as the priority date is current. If not she is stuck also.

If that is the case, my PD is 09/2002 EB3. My wife was born in Sri Lanka. They have'nt approved her case yet..? why?
They should have approved before june' 2005. But didn't happen.
Can I contact USCIS?

It's not going to help since the priority date for worldwide (non india, china, mexico, phillipines) EB3 is at the present unavailable. Starting October 1rst it's retrogressed to 01March01.
It would still have to get to your priority date for them to process her. :(

Is This True??

I happened to read an item in a local site message board. IS THIS TRUE?? Since my wife was born in Sri Lanka.

Please note the visa charge ability depends on the COUNTRY OF BIRTH, NOT YOUR CITIZENSHIP. Thus, even if you are Canadian citizen now, you are still subject to the country where you were born. However, if one of your family members was born in a better country, all of you can take advantage of it, i.e., you will be subject to that country’s charge ability.
