485 interview with wife. Sponsor's criminal record relevant?

Hi guys, as the subject states, my wife and I have our I-485 interview in a few weeks. I am the petitioner and I have had a few run-ins with the law that are now behind me. I know USCIS probably ran a background check on me or whatever, but my question is this:

Our interview notice says to bring arrest records "if you have ever been arrested." The entire notice uses the pronoun "you" referring to the alien relative. However, since this is a little unclear to me, does this mean both the USC and the alien relative have to bring arrest records? My wife (the alien relative) has never been arrested, but I have a few times in college and would need some time to get all of the necessary documentation they are requesting.

Thanks for the help!

Mikespimpin-

Indeed, you have nothing to worry about. USC could be accomplished criminals, holding a triple graduate degrees in all manners of crimes, USCIS would care less. :):) On the other hand, if your spouse (beneficiary) was the criminal extraordinaire, that would be an issue. For now, you and your spouse should demonstrate that you're indeed married, NOT a sham marriage. I wouldn't lose sleep over your past brushes with the law, unless the immigration officer was a victim of your lawlessness- ;);) which could be awkward... :p:p:cool::cool:! Good luck at your interview and just relax, be yourself!!
