485 Interview Question,

We are scheduled for a interview for July 27th and it is a EB3 case. One of the things required is an emloyment verification letter. The job description and the position and the company is the same but the salary is 9K less than what was the starting salary im 99/2000. In anycase the lawyer thinks that the case will not be approved just because of this and we need to ask the company to increase the salary.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and even if not suggestions are welcome
 
Absolutely no need to worry about it. Your 485 is furutre based employment, Your attorney thought wrong, it seems this is the first case of your attorney, and he never had any employment based case before. either he is playing with u $ value game, or he really don't know about it.

Let me make ur life easy...... don't forget the rule...."Didn't Ask didn't tell" .
get a generic supporting letter from Employment if possible, consider this example "if u borrow a tuxedo to wear in party and u keep saying ppl that the tuxedo I am wearing doesn't belongs to me........... "

You are more better condition than other.....so don't worry and be happy like this :D

Go to interview without any fear. with smile :D

Thanks for the supporting reply but when an employment letter is asked for it has to have a few things and salary is one of them. I myself feel this should not be an issue but just wantedto know if somebody has heard about this technicality or knows anything about it. Thanks for help in anycase
 
My friend, I und, but I believe you are little confuse about ur current job salary and ur future emplyment based GC .

Let me explain in short.
All U need a letter from ur company that they do have intention to fill this job position with u talent with respect of the doc(LC) previously submited. thats all. the is just like promise from ur company and it has nothing to do with ur current salary issue.... once they approve ur GC and u can continue ur job as they can fulfil their promise......... now is clear to u? all they want is that u would be getting min recommended salary once they Approv ur GC. and if ur company does give u support letter saying "Yes.... we would give him job balh blah...." that is fine.

so stop worry my friend u are all fine. smile :D

find a sample letter in last few days thread, someone did helped replying and sharing the sample letter, the best thing is ur attorney will make a draft, if not then use genericone.

I dont think u need to worry too much..I went for an interview recently and the officer just took the EVL and filed it away..I dont think they even compare it with what is on the LC..
So dont worry and just ignore that stupid lawyer of yours..They make money by putting in fear in us with all the dark possibilities...
