485 in process..H4 extention needed?

My 485 has been approved. My wife's and my daughter's 485 are also approved, but my 15yrs old son's 485 still not approved (it is in aprocess). My son is on H4 visa which is expiring on Feb-15,2005. Do I need to get his Visa extended or not, please suggest me? If visa extention is not needed then let me know how can he go outside USA?

Not needed. Since your 485 is approved, your son is already in AOS and he is no longer in H4 since you dont have a H1. So, he is legal.

If you let H4 expire then you move to AOS status..In AOS you need AP to travel outside..

It is all about H4 extenstion money Vs. AP application money

If primary has changed status from H1 to "immigrant" (ie. gets GC)....then all dependant H4 status stand invalid ..

Based on all the replies, pending AOS is valid and legal status and you do not need to apply H4.
