485 in EB2 or EB3?

Gurus,

Please guide.

I have MS so asked my comp lawyer to file EB-2 LC but they filed in EB-3. When I came to know about it I asked to file another EB-2 LC so have two approved 140s, one EB-2 and other EB-3.

Filed 485 after the last yr's July fiasco. Asked the same company lawyer to file in EB-2 and request to use EB-3 PD. Not sure what he did this time.

Called USCIS today to check 485 in EB-2 or EB-3 but rep said she cannot see any "EB2 or EB3" in system and suggested to contact lawyer. I am with the same company.

Is there anyway to find which EB category the 485 is in?
Is there anyway to check I-140 revocation on USCIS?
Is it possible for my company to revoke my EB-2 140 and use EB-2 LC for someone else (before not to use pre-approved law came in effect)?

Please note that the job descrition in the labor certification (and not your qualification alone) determines the EB category.

Based on only one future job your employer can start the GC process - all depends how your employer's lawyer submitted your case.

Yes it is possible for an employer to revoke the I-140 anytime.
