485 FP related questions.

My 485 is pending at CSC. Here are the details:

485 ND 04/02
1ST FP 05/03

I moved to Philly this April but havent updated the address on my 485. My lawyer says that by doing so they may move my case. I have the foll questions:
- How long r the FPs valid for?
- Would my lawyer get the 2nd FP notice? (he claims that he wud). Apparently my 1st FP noitce came to the lawyer.
- Does the online status change when CSC sends the FP notice?

1)FP's are valid for 15months
2)My lawyer didn't get any of my FP notices.
3)The online status is supposed to change but some people mentioned on this board that their's didn't. I don't think it has to do specifically with FP's but sometimes the online statuses don't match up

I was under the impression that if we change address we
are obliged to let DHS know by sending an AR11 form,
otherwise we may face very unpleasant proceedings ( e.g. denial, deportation).
Is it possible to notify DHS about your move without updating the address in the I-485 petition?

Please check this with your lawyer. Let us know what he/she thinks.

As for the FP notice, the applicant is the first person to receive it.
In many cases the lawyer will get a copy too, but not always.
