485 for me and Consular processing for my spouse

Hi, I recently got married. Is it possible to apply for I485 for me here in US and apply for my spouse who is in India on Consular processing ?
Has anyone done this before, what are the gotchas I should be aware ?

Hi, I got married recently, I couldn\'t bring my wife here(USA),
because she has to finish her studies in India, So i am planning for her Councsulor process, I need more info about this process, If any one done this before, Please give me some tips.

GC extension Q - conditional resident alien undergoing Divorce !

Hello, my pal came on greencard visa (CR-1)marrying a citizen in 2001. Due to family tortures, harassments & threatens, he is living seperately now. At his present status, he is unable to afford for an attorney fee. His spouse has filed for divorce which is pending in August for final. As his \'conditional resident status\' expires in 2003 march, he is uncertain of his green card extn procedures if divorced. Kindly advice.
