485 Filing -- Please advice

I got 140 approval in march, my company is delaying to file my 485/ead/ap. IF i want to file it on my own do i need to get any documents from my employer?

Is there a problem if i apply 485 on my own with out informing my current employer?

Please advice.

You need have these 3 docs form your employer...


1. Current employment Letter
2. Copy of approved I-140
3. Copy of approved labor

Once you have these docs plus other I-485 docs related to you, you can file on your own...I think your employer will never know...

Approved Labor?

Is the copy of approved labor is must? I have copy of 140 and employment letter.
