485 filing office

Hello all:

Does anybody have the idea on which office your 485 should file? I file My 140 in Vermont and got approved since my company in its area. While my attorney's office is in California. It seems like they file my 485 in California center. Is it possible or acceptable? If not, they will be transfer to vermont by california center later? Is any trick inside? what should I do now?

Where do you stay. Either you can file in the service center which has jurisdiction over where you are staying. Or the location of the company.

Where attorney is located does not matter.
